Hey!

I am so excited to share all of the adventures and experiences that I will have over the next few months of my life with YOU!! I am beyond excited to meet all of my teammates and do life with them, but first I would like for you to get to know a little bit about me!

I am from Lexington, Kentucky, and I have just graduated high school from Henry Clay (GO BLUE DEVILS). I have played basketball since I was very young and have enjoyed getting outside and being active with my family and friends! I also love working with children and some pretty amazing staff members. In years past I have worked at Bluegrass Christian Camp to help kids learn about the Lord and how much He loves them! It has been an eye opening and humbling experience to play, laugh and love kids, but also to know that God will love them so much more than anyone else ever can! Through it all, my friends from all different walks of life have been the most amazing thing about my high school career. Those who have loved me, pushed me, and guided me through the most amazing of times and the deepest, darkest lows are one of the reasons I am so excited to travel and experience more of life!

I have always wanted to travel from a really young age and I have never been out the country before, so I can’t wait to see what this incredible world is like! I also love getting to meet new people, and I can’t wait to meet my gap year family, but also the people on the race that I will be serving! I’m so grateful to have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel and serve all over the world, and I can’t be more excited, nervous, and happy for the future! But more about the backstory and big reason why I’m doing the world race will be coming in a future post, so stay tunned!!

In addition to all of these things I am grateful for you!! Regardless if you are a friend, family member, or someone just looking at what the World Race is about, I hope that you know how blessed I am that you are reading this right now!! I hope that you will stick around to follow what I will be doing around the world and see what crazy and exciting things I get into to!
